If you do not know exactly which Parliamentary constituency you would like to contest,
check out the list in column A on the attached spreadsheet.
Please be aware that, unless there are exceptional circumstances, we will only be able to
consider applicants who are reasonably computer literate and who have 24 hour internet
access.
This is for no other reason than that, with our extremely limited resources at present, e-mail
is the only viable means of communication.
Anyone with election campaigning or Agent experience will be welcomed on board.
My initial thoughts are that the country will need to be divided into about 12 regions (about
50 seats each).
This will require 12 regional coordinators who will each, I would propose, have their own
constituency.
Each region would have (say) 5 areas (about 10 seats each) and, again, the area
coordinators will each, I would propose, have their own constituency.
These guidelines are not set in "tablets of stone" however and we will very much play it by
ear in the early stages.
It is very important that prospectives candidates can come to the table with evidence that
they BELIEVE we can win and can show what actions they have taken since learning of
WCSP.
I will need to know, for example, that they have been in contact with their local media or
have persuaded local smokers or institutions to make donations.
By adopting this approach I hope to build a team of "Can Do's" & "Will Do's" rather than
"Hope To's" or "May Do's".
I believe that the secret to our ultimate success will be that everyone involved shares my
absolute belief that History can be changed forever.
If, having studied and understood the spreadsheet, you do not honestly believe that WCSP
can win the next election, please do not apply to be a candidate.
If, for whatever reason, you do not fully understand the spreadsheet, I will happily guide you
through it and, by so doing, probably learn a little more about you.
